What Not to Do to Your Rhododendrons

At Stan's Garden Center we like to help you keep your plants happy, healthy, and thriving. Usually, we have how-to tips and tricks, but today we are going to tell you what not to do!

Sometimes your plants will get too big for the area you planted them in, but with Rhodendrons, it is important to not prune their leaves back too much this late in the season. Timing is crucial for these plants.

They have already started to seed for next year, so we recommend you pinch off the old seeds instead of pruning them back. Make sure your plant doesn't see a lot of stress and water time thoroughly during times of drought.
