The most recent pick of yesterday, June 28th had good news for 3,409 candidates as they were sent ITA as selected candidates for Permanent Residence. Candidates in the Express Entry pool with a CRS score of 449 or higher were selected. This is the first draw of Express Entry which took place with the new changes to the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System which came into effect on June 6th after introducing additional points for candidates with a sibling in Canada and candidates with French ability as Polinsys had mentioned in the previous email to our clients.

One would wonder why the points nudged up a bit, but this is understandable. Typically the Express Entry picks take place once every 2 weeks, but since the changes to the CRS happened on 6th June, there was a delay in the pick and the current pick happened after 4 weeks. This allowed time for more applications and therefore a slight increase.

Here is an update of the CRS scores and this chart will show the scores for the past few picks, Please pause this video to review the chart.
