More than three weeks after the four senior judges of the Supreme Court raised their concerns through a press conference, all is not lost says retired Justice RS SODHI of the Delhi High Court. In an exclusive interview to RAJYA SABHA TV, SODHI pointed out that that there is nothing called the senior judge or the junior judge. He also maintained that going ahead and speaking against the Chief Justice of India was churlish and immature on the part of the four judges. SODHI also clarified that allocation of cases does not depend on whims and fancies of individual judges also maintaining that there can't be a prescribed guideline on which cases have to be assigned to a particular judge. While speaking to Rajya Sabha TV, SODHI even said that there are enough checks and balances within the system and if any judge differs from his counterpart, the matter should be thrashed out and debated in the full court and not raised at a public media platform. SODHI also congratulated the political fraternity for showing a measured restraint and maturity post the press conference held by the four senior judges of the Supreme court
