Walkthrough by Bermy

Head northeast from Chaed while underwater and enter the cave underneath the crescent islane. Exit out the whirlpool at the end to find the mermaid town.

00:17 - Preamarl
Purchase new weapons/armor from the shop on the right then go talk to the Queen in the northern part of the town. After she leaves, go outside town and back through the whirlpools to be back underwater on the world map. Head directly north from where you are and you will find a cave in between 3 small islands. Head north to your next boss.

02:48 - Ghost Ship (Boss)
The Ghost Ship has a good amount of HP, but poses no real threat to you. Most of its turns will be wasted summoning low level companions that you can one-shot. It's weak to Ice or Holy damage, but you can probably just auto attack the boss until it dies. After the dialogue head north into the central whirlpool and follow the path to the end where you will enter the nearby shrine.

05:35 - Submarine Cave Shrine
There isn't really much to do here, but this shrine can be quite interesting depending on what version of the game you are playing. In my version, as you can see, the graphics are all distorted and choppy due to localization issues. Fortunately, there is a simple path to follow. If you are playing the same version as me, simply head north until you run into a wall. Then head right 2 steps, then north all the way again, then left 2 steps and north. When you can't go north anymore, press A to begin the dialogue surrounding Dual Blade.

After the events unfold, warp to Portravia and talk to Lexis in the lab. Go outside and warp to Narcysus and go underwater. Hug the land going beginning in the north and you will run into a new cave entrance.

11:22 - Dankirk North Cave
Simply follow the only path forward until you arrive outside in the Gratze Kingdom. You will be immediately thrown into the dungeon when you step outside.

11:48 - Gratze Dungeon
Once you are free, head left, using the healing pads in the 3rd cell if you need to before heading out the door where you will be immediately thrown into a familiar fight.

13:54 - Soldier x4 (Boss)
These guys are a bit of a joke by now since they still only have about 500HP. Simply attack them all and they will die in a couple turns.

Head up the stairs and through the nearby door past the gorem and head right. Cut the vines to reveal a wall that can be bombed with a staircase behind it. Head upstairs and push the 4th column up on the left (it looks different from the rest) to reveal a staircase. Down below use an arrow or hook to flip the switch then pick up the Basement Key from the nearby chest. Now head back to the room where you bombed the wall.

From here, head north into the room with a dragon and gorem. Pick up the pot and step on the floor switch while holding the pot to unlock both doors. Head north and push the column onto the floor switch in the bottom left of this room. Ignore the cracked wall as there are only monsters behind it. Now head south and follow the path until you are upstairs.

Head south into the next room, then take the bottom right doorway. Inside you can flip a switch that raises stakes for you to grab with your hook. Cross the first gap to the right, then north to pick up a Miracle from the chest. Now head south and follow the path back to the prior room. This time, take the top right exit and head up the stairs at the end of the path.

This brings you to a simple floor tile puzzle. Every time you step on a switch, the platform you are standing on will move to the open spot if there is one available; if not, nothing happens. Follow this path to get to the end of this room:

↓ ↓ → → ↓ ↑ → ↓ ← ↓

Heal up and go up the stairs to encounter back to back boss fights.

32:38 - Soldier x4 (Boss)
Yup. These guys again. Nothing has changed so just attack them all and they will die in a couple turns.

33:09 - Tank (Boss)
Now for the real boss, although he isn't really difficult either. Magic attacks are useless here so you want to stick to normal attacks. The Tank has high defense so I recommend having Selan cast Trick on the entire party a number of times to increase your attack power. The Tank will either use a group wide attack that hits for about 90-100 damage; or a single target attack that hits for about 85-90% of your maximum HP. Simply keep your entire party's HP full each round (have Artea cast Champion on the entire party if you need to) and the Tank will go down eventually.

After the fight you collect your engine and are back in Portravia. Go talk to Lexis in the Kirmo Laboratory to have him remodel your ship to allow you to travel via both air and sea. With the new ship in your possession, head to the islands above Preamarl and enter the village on the southern island.
