Hebrews 6:1
Logos is a title for the Son of God; Jesus Christ is the Person of the Word.
The Word of God Personified. God in Person.
It is the same word recording John 1:1,14
The Word is (Logos)
The word doctrine, logos referred to Christ, who Jesus is, what Jesus says and what Jesus does.
The Person of Christ teaches us the principles, which is another word for Doctrine. This is the only time the word logos is used as Doctrine.
The general use of the word doctrine is one of those one of these three Greek words, didasko, Didache, and didaskalia, which means to teach, instruct and learn. The act of teaching what is taught.
The Disciples Doctrine.
What does doctrine do to an individual? In order to understand the effect or power of doctrine, we must go back to the Gospel and look at what Jesus taught his disciples about doctrine.
Matthew 28:19
The word teach is the Greek word is Matheteuo, which means disciple. Or one who follows a teaching.
A disciple is one who is disciplined, and who has been taught, trained, and instructed to carry out what has been taught.
Matthew 28:20 KJV
Now this word teaching is the Greek word (Didasko), which means to teach or instruct.
The Lord commands the Apostles to teach (or make disciples Matheteuo) to make disciples by teaching (instruct Didasko) them the Doctrine. To indoctrinate them in The Doctrine of Christ. Not Man Doctrine. (Denominations).
When people are indoctrinated, they are disciples of that teaching. Or field of discipline.
Upon completion of the teaching, they are eligible to receive their doctrine and begin teaching what they have been taught.
Hebrews 6:1-2.
Can you teach what you have been taught? Have you been taught the Doctrine of Christ?
Jesus desire that we all become His disciples. Jesus wants us to receive Spiritual Doctorates in His Doctrine.
Hebrews 5:12
The words teacher and teach in this scripture are the same. In order to fulfill this scripture, we must first be taught and trained, which means to become a disciple. A disciple teaches what he’s been taught.
Our ability to teach The Doctrine of Christ will determine and reveal our level of our maturity.
Hebrews 6:1. Let us go on unto perfection. Or in essence, to grow up.
Hebrews 5:12
People who feed only on milk do not feed themselves. These are milk believers who are spoon fed or breast fed.
The only time they feed on the Word is when they come to church or go to a conference or listen to preachers on TV, or on the radio.
After they hear the teaching of the Word, they never studied the Word they have heard. How about you? Do you study the word that you heard it? Would you be considered a “milk believer?” How about you preachers? How about you teachers? How about you pastors?
Do you preach? Another man's message? Or do you study the message that you preach? There is nothing wrong with preaching another person's message if you have the revelation of the message that you preach.
On the other hand, if you don't study the Word. That you have heard, you will not get the revelation nor the understanding of the messages.
Instead of being a voice for God, you become an echo of a man.
I'm not suggesting that we should not preach something that we have heard another preacher preach. The Bible teaches that there is no private interpretation in the scriptures.
Isaiah 28:9
Ephesians 4:11-12 are given for the purpose of maturing believers.
Although mature people don't need to be spoon fed or breastfed, this does not neglect the fact that everyone needs to be continually taught by those in the fivefold ministry.
People are perfected in the process of teaching others what they have been taught.
It is time for the body of Christ to rise up and become mature believers who are able to feed ourselves and others. The Doctrine of Christ. We should have the attitude of the Berean believers.
Acts 17:11
The Berean Believers were not milk believers. They received the word which indicate that they heard the Word from the Apostles who represents the head of the fivefold ministry.
They searched the Scriptures daily for themselves. Daily implies a discipline in devotion that qualified them as disciples.
2 Timothy 2:2; 2 Timothy 2:15 Amp Bible
God's New Testament preachers are supposed to build God’s people on the Apostles doctrine (the sent one’s), which is Christ doctrine, which is the Father's doctrine operating in the Principle of Representation, which as preachers, preaching The Doctrine of Christ.
That's why It's All About Him! Christ Jesus! Because it’s His Doctrine, His Word, Because Jesus is The Word of God.
