Gopal Yonjan - Lahure | लाहुरे Remastered Music Video

FThe word 'Lahure' has traditionally been associated with the Gurkha soldiers fighting in foreign wars. In contemporary times 'Lahure' has also come to define the thousands of Nepalis who have had to leave their families and homeland in search of better opportunities. An emotional expression of these Nepalis is captured in this song -Lahure.

Gopal Yonjan wrote, composed and sang this song which was released in August 1996 in the album Nishani 52. The song was visualized and broadcast in partnership with Nepal Television. It has been possible with the aid of modern technology to upscale and remaster the original video.
