The illustration shows the registered mobile phone connections per 100 inhabitants of the various European countries. Unfortunately, data for Lichtenstein are only available from 1998 and for Montenegro and Serbia only from 2004, so they only appear later in the visualization. In order to present the visual traceability in a pleasant way for the viewer, the country borders are simplified by being set to the year 2021 and not changing over time.
