There's so much I love about this song (and Tangled in general 😁🥰) as it's filled with so much delightful energy and hopeful confidence and it's easily catching the more you listen to this song. (And after about a month of working on it...I've listened to it a lot. 🙂😆😂😎🥰)

Do you ever feel stuck? Like your life isn't going anywhere or perhaps held back from the things you want to accomplish and the places you want to go? Maybe not literally, but in your own head, and you wonder if it's even worth trying because, what's the point?

One of the things I love about this song is how it's not about becoming better and stronger just for your own sake, but with the heartfelt intention of giving what you have to others.
You are a unique and wonderful individual with special interests and a personal way of seeing the world, and there are thoughts and dreams and meaningful connections that only you can bring, and by having the courage to do so you not only make things better for yourself but for those around you too. 💖 Don't hold it in!

Do you ever get discouraged by all that's going wrong in the world, or even in your own life?
I know I do, and while it's good to be mindful of things and prepare for certain realities, remembering what you do have and focusing on what is good can really help lift your perspective and make life seem worth living after all. ✨💕And not just living in the physical sense, but freeing yourself to enjoy the small things, the fun things, the good things and live with a sense of wonder and excitement as you experience and interact with the beautiful world around you. Soak up every bit of sunshine and don't let fears stop you from embracing this day.

Let your spirit run wild! I think there's a mistaken habit shoved into us as we get older that we have to suppress our emotions and hide our enthusiasm for fear of being weird or uncool, but there's so much freedom and joy that comes from just being yourself and having fun enjoying whatever little silly thing makes you happy.
It doesn't matter if it's crazy or simplistic, have fun and don't stress about what other people think. (Do be safe tho - there's a difference between wild and senseless. 😉)
A special thanks to a friend of mine who's been encouraging me of this very fact and listened to me joyfully babbling about waffles, ninja turtles, and basically any random thought that popped in my head, and proved that good friends will still like you even if you're a little crazy. (Actually sometimes that's more fun 😎😉💫)

On a side note - take good care of yourself. 💕 Get some sleep, eat some food, take a walk in the fresh air. You can't give more of yourself if you're a walking zombie and even the most positive of people can get cranky without enough food. (I mean, look at Tikki 😜🙃)
I went to camp for the week with my family and I came back feeling AMAZING!!! Who knew food and a little exercise could feel so good? 🤔😍😆😋 (Still working on the sleep part, but baby steps😌😜) Normally I can't actually eat much because of health issues, and I was in immense pain for some of the meals I cheated on, but this whole experience has reminded me of how the body does actually run on food and I shall put more effort into finding things I can actually eat. 😅😏🙃

A friend of mine pointed out how "Whatever I want now I'm gonna chase" could also refer to someone like Hawkmoth who puts his own desires above the safety and wellbeing of everyone else, soooo...yeah, chase good things 😂😁😉 But I actually like this line cuz in the context of giving of yourself and being the person you want to be, it's very freeing to toss all negativity and criticisms to the wind (with your hair flowing behind you 🍃✨) and chase after something no matter what obstacles might stand in your way. Be yourself and share your heart with the world 💖

And of course, this description wouldn't be complete without mentioning the One who made me open my eyes and gave me a strength I didn't know I could have. My life would be so incomplete without Jesus and the reason I can give is because he has given so much to me. Anyone can try to be loving and hopeful and push forward when times get hard, but we all dry up and burn out eventually, and that's when it helps to look to someone who's love and strength is greater than our own and gave up everything he had to make a way for us to have a new life in him.
