This video captures the inspiration and music of the talented musicians of ROGUE COLLECTIVE as they play their Structured Improvisation to April M RImpo's painting, "Time at the Bus Stop" which was included in her and Elaine Weiner-Reed's exhibit, "Portraits of Life: The Art of Storytelling."

Here is ROGUE COLLECTIVE's description of their interpretation of "Time at the Bus Stop",
"Inspired by the intergenerational elements and quotidian nature of the setting RC
used a theme and variations to show the small evolutions in everyday life and familial relationships."

This video features these musician's thoughts on the painting and the audio music created live during a 22 May 2019 Music Collaboration Event in Columbia, MD during our exhibition.

I am so grateful for this experience, which is an extension of Elaine Weiner-Reed's "Every Painting is a Song" initiative. Thanks also go to my husband, Chas Rimpo, who took hours of video footage to allow me to create this video.
