ICE Agents Pose An Immediate Lethal Threat To The Life Of Every American

Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old registered nurse working in the intensive care unit at the VA, was killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis. The US citizen was exercising his constitutional right to film and protest when ICE agents approached him on the street. Pretti was a legal gun owner who purchased his 9mm handgun legally and was carrying it lawfully at the time of the encounter.

Video footage reveals that Pretti never brandished, drew, or pointed his weapon at ICE agents. After agents attacked and pistol whipped him to the ground, an ICE agent in a gray jacket disarmed Pretti and accidentally discharged the weapon into the ground. Another ICE agent, hearing the gunshot and mistakenly believing Pretti had fired, unloaded an entire magazine into the prone man's body.

DHS posted a stock photo from the internet falsely representing it as Pretti's actual gun. The incident raises serious questions about ICE hiring standards, training requirements, and the removal of education requirements for agents. Pretti's only prior law enforcement interactions were traffic tickets. He leaves behind his dog Jewel and a community demanding accountability for this fatal shooting.

The Minneapolis shooting highlights concerns about constitutional rights, legal gun ownership, and the safety of American citizens who protest government actions. Questions remain about ICE agent training, use of force policies, and the circumstances that led to a registered nurse and US citizen being killed on an American street while exercising First Amendment and Second Amendment rights.
