I’m an optimist, I believe that most people are good, kind and doing the best they can. I believe that gratitude for all, even the tough and hard things, brings peace, joy and happiness into my life. Life can be challenging at times, but taking a step back and recognizing the blessings puts things into perspective.

I’m hosting our Thanksgiving dinner this year and today is prep day. I’ll be brining my turkey, making the stuffing and other sides. In our stories today I’m sharing my cranberry recipe. If you love cranberries you’ll want to try it.

I was inspired by the dusty rose mums I found at Hobby Lobby. With scraps of burlap, gauze table scarf, bead garland and neutral pumpkins my table is now set for Thanksgiving.

A beautiful table doesn't need to be expensive. The flowers were 75% off with filler pampas grass, the table scarf was only $9 on Amazon and the dishes were a thrift store find.
