The "Other Monuments" project is an innovative and meaningful initiative aimed at creating interactive walking routes throughout the city, which celebrate the diverse history and culture of the city. This ambitious undertaking is grounded in the stories and memories of displaced, exiled, and immigrant people, social workers, disabled citizens, artists, and activists residing in the city's neighbourhoods. The project's principal objective is to construct "personal monuments" that honour the city's immigrant communities by bringing their memories and experiences to the fore in public spaces, creating spontaneous encounters between different groups and dialogue spaces.
