About Momo
Momo is a type of East and South Asian steamed filled dumpling.[1] Momo is native to Tibet and Nepal. It is popular across a wider region of the Indian subcontinent. Momo is similar to Chinese baozi, jiaozi, and mantou, Mongolian buuz, Japanese gyoza, Korean mandu and Turkic manti, but heavily influenced by Nepali cuisine with South Asian spices and herbs. Momo are extremely popular in Nepal and can be found in every kind of shop from restaurants to street vendors.

Samay Baji
Samay Baji (Nepal Bhasa: समय् बजि) is an authentic traditional dish of Newar community in Nepal. Samay baji is taken as starter in every festival, every religious activities and pujas. This is served in Sharada(death anniversary rituals) as well. It is taken throughout the year because of its simplicity; it is easy to make and can be stored for a long time. The Samay Baji is also taken during the major festivals of Nepal like Indra Jatra, Dashain, Tihar (Laxmi Puja, Bhai Tika). This dish is served in almost all the activities of Newari people.

Thakali Khana set
The Thakali are the people originated from the Thak Khola region of the Mustang District in Nepal. Thakali meal consists of locally grown buckwheat, barley, millet, rice, maize and dal. A kind of dal is also made from the dried, ground buckwheat leaves. Also, other special pickles, gundruk, and ghee are also included. Thakali meal is collectively made up of these all food items.

Dindo
Dhindo (Nepali: ढिँडो ) is a meal prepared in Nepal. It is prepared by gradually adding flour to boiling water while stirring. It is a staple meal in various parts of Nepal and the Sikkim and Darjeeling regions of India. Though it is a staple food in Nepal, dhindo has previously been seen as an inferior food compared to rice, and was associated with low status.

Laping
Laping is a spicy cold mung bean noodle dish in Tibetan cuisine. It is a street food and is also popular in some parts of Nepal.[1] It can be eaten with red pepper chili, coriander and green onion sauce. The noodles have a slippery texture and are served with a soy sauce gravy. It is traditionally a summer food. A tool is used to shape it. The laping derives from the Sichuan-style liangfen.

Chhaang
Chhaang or chang (Tibetan: ཆང་, Wylie: chang, Newar: थो:, Nepali: छ्याङ) is a Nepalese and Tibetan alcoholic beverage also popular in parts of the eastern Himalayas, Yakkha, Limbu, Newar, Sunuwar, Rai, Gurung, Magar, Sherpa, Tamang and Lepcha communities. Among the Lepcha, it is called Chi.

Chukauni
Chukauni is a salad originating in Palpa district, Nepal. It is made from boiled potatoes, yogurt, onion, coriander and spices. It is a popular type of salad and eaten mainly as a side dish with roti, steamed rice or batuk.

Lakhamari
Lākhāmari (Nepalese: लाखामरि) is a type of sweet of Newars. It is made of flour, sugar, butter and other ingredients. It can be made in different shapes and are named differently depending upon the shapes. It is customarily given to guests of marriage ceremony in some Newar subculture.

Gundruk
Gundruk (Nepali: गुन्द्रुक) is a fermented leafy green vegetable and a popular food in Nepal, and it is claimed to be one of the national dishes. It is popular not only in Nepal but also in Gorkhali or Nepalese diaspora households worldwide.

Juju Dhau
Dhau (Nepal Bhasa: धौ) is yogurt prepared by Newars of Nepal. It is traditionally made in clay pots. It can also be made in plastic cups. The most famous and delicious variety of dhau is juju dhau, which is known for its rich taste and thick consistency. Juju dhau literally means "king yogurt" in Nepal Bhasa. It is a specialty of the town of Bhaktapur.
