Watch how 5 year old soccer player battles through the ups while trying to break his personal juggling record of 17. I decided to piece together a little video about Brighton trying to break his soccer juggling record this afternoon . Why? Well because I found myself watching while filming with my phone the struggle of a little 5 year old boy trying to become better at something he loves more than anything in life. As funny as this video is in parts I thought it represented something much more than a kid juggling a ball. It turns out that its a video about not giving up no matter how many times we fail. It's a video about pursuing a goal no matter how big or small and following through with it. What you don't see in this video is me telling Brighton " Hey thats enough for today buddy "..." Good job but you can try and break your record tmrw " He refused to go inside until he beat it. It's amazing when us as adults can learn from our children. Drive is inside all of us we just need to dig deep sometimes even when its uncomfortable. I hope you enjoy this as much as I had watching it happen.
