Transit in Waterloo (July 2024)

Waterloo is a city in Southwest Ontario and is one of three cities in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. The city is known as a tech hub as many tech-bases companies, including Research In Motion (Blackberry), as well as many insurance companies. Two Universities are also situated in Waterloo, namely Wilfred Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.

Grand River Transit operates bus and light rail service through the municipality. Conestoga Station, located at Conestoga Mall, is the Northern terminus of the ION light rail line. It also has a bus terminal which connects several bus routes through Waterloo and into neighbouring Kitchener & Elmira.
