During the game awards in 2019 Steam held the Steam Game Festival. Basically it was a time-limited set of demos you could play for upcoming indie games lasting from December 12-14 2019.

This video is my impressions of one such demo, for the game Spiritfarer.

I'm a bit late posting this video, but Steam is actually holding another similar event now (March 18-23 2020) and you can play demos for some of the same games and many other cool looking ones. I'll be checking them out and you should too if you're interested.
