Central Bucks East & Central Bucks West are two High Schools serving the Doylestown, PA area. It was a tradition for these two rival schools to play each other on Thanksgiving Day. It became a well attended yearly tradition. While the two schools still play each other in football, the PA State Championship schedule, along with the addition of a third area high school (CB South), means that this tradition on Thanksgiving Day no longer takes place.

While we do not have a copy of the full game from 1991, this is the Preview to that year's classic. Significant due to the strength of both teams. C.B. West was #1 in their league, and nationally ranked in the Top 10 by USA Today & ESPN. C.B. East that year was ranked #2 in their league behind C.B. West.
West went on to beat East 17-7, assuring them a PA State Playoff spot. That year CB West won the first of four State Championships by beating Erie Cathedral Prep 26-14.

Both coaches from that year have passed on. East coach Larry Greene passed away in 2013. West coach Mike Pettine in 2017.
