The video and audio in this segment is very poor, but it may be of interest to students of that 1974-5 4th grade Bowler class and to teacher education students of Rod Clarken who were required in their seminars to do a video tape of their teaching. At that time Rod was part of the Wisconsin Indian Teacher Corps. Later when he became Director of Field Experiences at Northern Michigan University, he required his student teachers to video tape their teaching and to share it for review by their peers and himself. To be fair, he converted this segment of one of the early reel to reel video recordings of his teaching for their review. The thing they most noticed and criticized was my dress which is hard to make out, but consisted of a corduroy coat, green plaid pants and a clashing tie. What can he say. It was the 70's and he was living simply on the nearby Stockbridge-Munsee Indian reservation. He was teaching in this segment with Miss Grube.
