In today's video, we are sharing a recent experimental pour we did using silicone moulds, casting resin and shell fragments.

This video was done over 2 days in 3 different parts. We first poured the base layer of black pigment with resin. Once this layer was very tacky and almost cured, we began to layer our shell fragments into the resin. This meant that the shell pieces wouldn't sink or float.
We started with layering the pieces using a tweezer, but this became very time consuming as the pieces got smaller, so we began to sprinkle the pieces on instead.
After 24 hours of this curing, we added a clear layer of resin to fill the remainder of the mould.
