Two months ago, I did an 8-day sugar diet experiment—tracking everything with before-and-after bloodwork, DEXA scans, and a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). The results were not good: I gained 5 pounds in just over a week, my blood sugar spiked wildly, my skin broke out, my gums started bleeding, and my anxiety symptoms returned.

In today’s video, I’m breaking down what happened in the two months AFTER I stopped the sugar diet—including:

✅ How long it took to lose the weight I gained
✅ How long it took my blood sugar to normalize
✅ DEXA scan results from 6 weeks after the Sugar Diet experiment concluded
✅ How long it took my blood markers (including HDL cholesterol) to return to baseline
✅ How my autoimmune condition (Hashimoto’s thyroiditis) may have made things worse
