As per the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Mithapur, Patna – 800001, the tentative schedule for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT)–2026 is given below. All eligible candidates who wish to take admission in the Ph.D. programme are advised to carefully note the following dates and instructions:

🔹 Last Date for Submission of Online Application:
➡️ 27 January 2026
Candidates must complete and submit the online application form through the official portal on or before this date. No application will be accepted after the deadline.

🔹 Last Date for Submission of Hard Copy of Application:
➡️ 31 January 2026
After successfully filling the online form, candidates are required to send the printed hard copy of the application along with all relevant self-attested documents (educational certificates, mark sheets, category certificate, NET/JRF certificate if applicable, etc.) to the University office.
📌 Note: Submission of hard copy is mandatory. Online form alone will not be considered complete.

🔹 Tentative Date of Entrance Examination (PAT–2026):
➡️ 05 February 2026
The written entrance test will be conducted on this date as per the syllabus and pattern prescribed by the University.
🔹 Tentative Dates for Interview / Viva-Voce:
➡️ 10 February 2026 to 13 February 2026
Candidates shortlisted in the written test will be called for interview. The interview will assess research aptitude, subject knowledge, and suitability for Ph.D. research.

🔹 Tentative Date of Declaration of Final Result:
➡️ 16 February 2026
The final merit list of selected candidates will be published after combining the marks of the written examination and interview.

📌 Important Instruction:
All candidates must ensure timely completion of both online and offline processes. The hard copy of the application along with required documents must reach the University within the prescribed date, otherwise the candidature may be rejected.
