Well, the difficulty chart is still a mess and thus I decided to just continue with the older one until things clear up. This means I just tackled a steeple that was one of the easiest a day ago but now is considered the hardest advanced steeple (with only two above it counting the SoDI nerf).


Honestly this steeple felt less stressful and struggling than Hallucinatory Spectacles did. The jumps are a lot more normal here; the big focus seems to be on beat blocks and the inability to jump. The final floor has a catch net that makes it hard to fail as well (thank goodness as about half my time was doing said area).



I can imagine this steeple being more of a headache for someone who couldn't time beat blocks, stuff like the x-pusher beat block is quite innovative in regards to timing and was actually pretty enjoyable. Struggles for me mostly came in the form of flatsides and wraps.


You may notice I completed this in a nice amount of time, though I blame a lot of that on the experience I had with it. I had to keep leaving and coming back due to deaths resulting in floor 3 being impossible, the ladder pusher just wouldn't appear.


Overall I find this one of the better steeples of Paradise Atoll. The atmosphere isn't the greatest, but I found the beat blocks fun.
