You absolutely will never be asked in any initial consultation with Washington Law Center to share your story, it is not a requirement.

If you choose to share details we'll be happy to listen, we'll be happy to analyze the facts of your case, the mechanics of timing and what to expect and who may be involved.

The costs and the fees and those types of things, we'd be more than happy to spend whatever time it takes to make sure that you have all of those answers.

And in fact when you're ready if you get to that point to share you're going to get to do that in a way that's best for you.

We're going to be able to meet you in person we're going to be able to speak with you over the phone.

More often than not folks like to take their time and write their story and then send that to us.

Many times we'll get an anonymous email from someone that just says I have questions or this happened to me is this something you can help with and know that that's an option too.

If you're uncomfortable even disclosing who you are or where you live and just want to communicate with me via email I'm going to make that happen and I'm still going to answer your questions even if you never ultimately want to come in.

My goal is to ensure that you know it's not your fault you know that someone is here to help if you want it and that we're going to answer those questions if you have them.

We represent sexual abuse victims that's what we do.

We know how delicate this is, we know how much of an impact this has had on you, on your family, on your life and that's why you're going to be given the space you need and the time you need to share your story.
