SAN JOSE, Calif. (WKRC) - It's been the story of the summer in local sports, and now executives with FC Cincinnati get to tell the top soccer league in the country all about it.

The club's president and chief financial officer are on their way to San Jose Wednesday to attend events surrounding Thursday's Major League Soccer All-Star game.

MLS leaders are also expected to talk about expansion plans during meetings this week.

FC Cincinnati, which is in the United Soccer League, hosted more than 71,000 fans over three games at Nippert Stadium last week, and it already broke the single-season attendance record with four regular-season home games remaining.

The first of those is Saturday night at 7 p.m. against the Charleston Battery, and you can also watch that live on Star 64.
