Hello color shifting paint! The new Blade v8 sports the earthy green and copper tones in a one of a kind chameleon paint. To provide more torsional stability, Wilson's Directly connected the Blade's endcap to the carbon fiber instead of the foam handle. The change should help high level players that generate a lot of torque on their ground strokes. While v7 featured FeelFlex, Wilson is now referring to the layup as FortyFive. The racquet is designed to be more effective with a more modern and vertical stroke style. Wilson used plant based plastics in the grommets, head guard, and end cap as a nod to the brand's focus on sustainability. The 18x20 is the most precise feeling racquet in the lineup, but the reduced swing weight makes it a little easier to swing than v7.
