I decided to make this upgrade for my 5 year old daughter. Due to speed of Atv and lack of lower end torque.
If my daughter had to run over something or drive up a hill from a stop. She would have to throttle the Atv excessively to tackle the obstacle. As soon as the Atv would over come the obstacle in the slightest bit. All that throttle would catch up. Causing her to come out of the obstacles hot and heavy. Either with to much speed or just leaving the precision of her driving choices, just plain out of her control. Leaving no choice but to brake immediately.
The Atv has dropped 10-15 mph. From a speed of approx 35-40mph to 20-25mph. At full throttle. After sprocket change.

The Atv is way easier to control now. With better engine braking. Now at lower speeds and throttle response. She’s got plenty of yeee haaaawwww getting put to the ground now!
