AUSTIN: Expressions of Appreciation and Encouragement from Chris Riley

In this episode, our dear friend and long-time Active Towns supporter, the late Chris Riley, an Austin native, dedicated advocate, and former city council member, delivers a personal message of appreciation for the Austin urbanism advocacy community, a passionate pitch for the City Leap Initiative by Safe Streets Austin, and words of encouragement for the current and future Austin city council. Chris's actions on the city council and as an advocate were instrumental in paving the way for the city's relationship with the Dutch Cycling Embassy and the early efforts resulting in the City's ongoing Dutch-inspired cycle network buildout.
