About The Host: Ryan Fogelman is the host of "The Everyday Entrepreneur" podcast. He is also one of the Co-Founders of COhatch. The podcast features discussions with COhatch members, scholars, and others about building businesses, connecting with others, and creating a positive impact in the community.

Ryan Fogelman is a serial entrepreneur who has helped start and scale brands across various industries and business models. He currently dedicates his time to his companies, Fire Rover and COhatch.

Ryan's Background and Expertise Ryan holds both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Business from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University , graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 2001.

His professional background includes:

• Entrepreneurial Ventures: He is deeply involved in his companies, Fire Rover and COhatch. He also serves as a Co-Founder and Principal of Keller Williams Capital Partners – The Ignite Group Ohio.

• Innovation: Ryan has one patent pending for a remote fire protection solution designed to replace on-site human fire watch. His companies have earned recognition including two Edison Innovation Foundation Awards, two Retailers Choice Awards, and multiple Fast50 Awards for growth and innovation. He was also named Top Fire Influencer by the International Fire & Safety Journal in 2025 and 2026.

• Mentorship and Education: Ryan is highly committed to entrepreneurship education, having spent two years on the advisory team for the Entrepreneurship Program at Lake Erie College. He continually advises founders on how to turn their ideas into businesses that are scalable and sustainable.

• Business Philosophy: Ryan describes himself as a "pure capitalist" who focuses on the "brass tax" of business, such as advice on how to keep your burn rate low. He emphasizes the importance of community, as seen through the COhatch Boost and Give scholarship programs. These programs offer stability and network access, providing over $6.5 million in scholarship awards to more than 1,000 Nonprofits and 500 For-profits.
