We have chosen to call this the "Straddle" knurling tool and here are trying to demonstrate it in use. Once again, using just a piece of scrap mild pre-machined roughly to a profile ready for knurling. Had one section in the video where exposure went silly and some camera angles are a bit difficult - more practice needed probably, but hopefully it helps explain the tool's usefulness! It might be mentioned that this same tool was used to knurl the handle of my graver tool. Finishing chamfer was unequal due to 'making do' with tooling already in the 4 way tool post.
