Now I can make my own battery packs for the Fatshark FPV goggles with BUILT-IN LED Capacity checkers! I bought mine here http://goo.gl/wc5gg9 for less than $3!

I saw these little boards come in stock on Banggood here http://goo.gl/wc5gg9 a couple of days back & ordered 2.

One 2S (specifically for a backup battery for the Fatshark goggles) and a 3S version for a slope soarer.

As you'll see in the video I got reviewers curse on the 3S version, but a quick dab with the soldering iron on the 75% marker soon sorted that out. Happy days.

This now means that you can create your OWN replacement batteries for your FatShark goggles or any of the other common brands such as Eachine, Skyzone, KDS, Walkera, Quanum & so on, but not pay the silly premium prices replacement batteries cost.

ALSO this means that you can use MUCH LARGER batteries than before.

So for example the official Fatshark batteries here http://goo.gl/mGH7U7 which cost around $26 USD only hold 1800mAh of charge.

Using this little board, you could select a much bigger 2S battery, say a 4000mAh battery pack like this one http://goo.gl/VELqPr or even this one http://goo.gl/xkGrU9 from HobbyKing, extend the wires out (as it would be heavy on your head doh!) and pretty much select ANY battery capacity you want.

Note: FatSharks need 2S batteries. If you use a different cell count, it'll either not work (eg 1S) or fry the headset (3S or bigger). Neither are desirable ;-)

More FPV flying time, that's gotta be happy days!

Balance Lead Connectors

If you're going for a larger battery pack which you don't want strapped to your head, you can easily make up an extension lead for the balance lead using these http://goo.gl/pMDF7q connectors.

I bought these boards out of my OWN money!!!

I was NOT sent the boards for free as a "review sample", I bought them because I needed an emergency battery pack for my FPV goggles.

You see me convert a spare 2S battery in this video exactly for that purpose. And I'll be using the 3S version in one of my slope soarers.
