Hey watch lovers! Welcome to a Chronostore luxury watch review. Today’s timepiece is a Chopard Mille Miglia, ‘Rosso Corsa’, part of the racing colors set that arrived in the early 2000s. Defined by Italy’s classic car rallies, this dial’s red color was designed to identify Italy itself just as the other models in this collection correspond with other countries.

Similar to other pieces we’ve shown you, a limited number of these watches were produced, this one being the 189th of 1,000 made. From here you’ll also notice its sapphire crystal case-back, showing off its automatic movement. Looking closely, just past the jewel, you can see its main-spring and balance wheel at work, showing us the heart-beat of time, as these help keep the watch in motion as your wrist naturally sways. Garnished with reasons to gander inside and out this watch was given an adjustable 8.25 in. black leather strap with red stitching to match the face, vintage accents, and a titanium Chopard engraved tang-buckle clasp.

Another noteworthy aspect is this model’s 40mm satin-finished titanium case, which has chronograph pushers and a push-down crown along the right side, providing this model a modest water resistance of 50 m or a 165 ft diving depth, though I doubt most racers are swimming in something so stylish. The case also has a fixed tachymeter-engraved bezel.

Moving forward, the front features 30-min and 12-hr chrono subs, a small seconds sub-dial, arabic numerals with dots assisting in some places, a date-window, metallic sword shaped hands with luminescent features, and an arrow-shaped red-hand dedicated to the chronograph.
