As gun violence continues to plague communities across the Western Cape there are calls for a specialised firearm investigation unit where necessary.
In the latest shooting, three people died at a house in Harare in Khayelitsha on Monday while two were critically wounded.
This is the latest in a string of shooting incidente that has plagued some of the townships in Cape Town.
