The bunker is In a rectangular compound on the east side of Stripe Road north of its junction with Common Lane (bridleway).

OPEN All surface features remain intact and set in a slight hollow. The green paint is generally good with a little, flaking. A dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The ventilation louvres are unusually small. The hatch is open but was locked when inspected in August 2000. Some time after that date it was forced open and is now damaged and detached. Internally there was slight fire damage when visited in 2002 with much still much still remained in place including table, shelf, cupboard, one bed frame, to original canvas chairs, maps, posters, papers, BPI mount, siren box, jerry can, tool board, mirror, post battery, waste bin, clock, 2 kettles, T-pot, plastic bowl, crockery, cutlery. Since 2002 the post has been badly damaged by fire and is strewn with rubbish. Little still remains in reasonable condition apart from the table. The cupboard is partly burnt, as are two folding canvas chairs and two mattresses. The battery is broken. The post was sold in 2003 as part of a sale of 50 posts that were owned by a cellphone company. Despite fetching an unusually high price little has changed at the post since the 2003 visit. The hatch is now missing and the post is open.

Opened in 1963 and closed in 1991.
