Ingredients for making sambar masala

1/4 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
1 tsp. - Coriander seeds
2 tsp. - bengal gram
1 tsp. - urad dal
1/4 tsp. - pepper
4 to 5. - dried red chillies
2 ta sp. - ghee


for seasoning

2 tsp. - sesame oil
1/2 tsp - mustard
1/4 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
1. -slited green chilli
2 - dried red chilli
then add curry leaves and hing


Method

for making sambar masala dry roast the above items and lastly add coconut and grind into powder.

Boil the mixed vegetables in tamirind juice with turmeric and salt. when the vegetables boiled then add the ground masala cook for some time. Finally add cooked toor dal and cook for 2 mins. now garnish with coriander leaves. Adding ghee and jaggery gives nice aroma and taste like kalayana veetu sambar so don't miss it. now our delicious kalayana Sambar ready to serve.
