I highly suggest a good thorough cleaning around once a year and this is the video on how to clean you vacuum and reassemble it without any problems. However i do not suggest you do this cleaning while the vacuum is in warranty. This shark rocket cordless vacuum cleaning video will work also for the shark rocket pro model and pro pet model. However the front roller may be different than the standard brush roller if you have the self cleaning roller.
