This conference celebrated the depth, breadth, and impact of the research career of Douglas Nelson. The focus of the conference reflects the research interests of Doug and his co-authors. This includes inequality, non-tariff measures, non-trade policy objectives in trade agreements, market power and equity in open markets, trade and development linkages and the network dimensions in labour markets. A sub-set of the papers presented during the event will be published in a special volume of the Review of International Economics.
