Kapha Masala

MAKES 1 CUP / PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
This spice blend will help treat all Kapha digestive issues such as slow digestion, slow metabolism, weight gain, and lethargy after meals. You can add it to any savory food or recipe to enhance flavor and digestibility. This heating, stimulating blend helps make heavy foods less heavy and boosts digestive fire. To get the full effects of the spice blend, dry roast it for 30 to 60 seconds before adding it to your food.
Ingredients:-
2&1/2 tablespoons turmeric powder (2&1/2 बड़े चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर)
2&1/2 tablespoons ground ginger (2&1/2 बड़े चम्मच पिसा हुआ अदरक)
1&1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds, whole (1&1/2 बड़े चम्मच जीरा, साबुत)
1 tablespoon brown mustard seeds, whole (1 बड़ा चम्मच सरसों के बीज, साबुत)
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (1 बड़ा चम्मच पिसी हुई दालचीनी)
1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns, whole (1/2 बड़ा चम्मच काली मिर्च, साबुत)
1/2 tablespoon cardamom powder (1/2 बड़ा चम्मच इलायची पाउडर)
5 cloves (5 लौंग)
Steps:-
1. Put the turmeric, ginger, cumin seeds, brown mustard seeds, cinnamon, peppercorns, cardamom, and cloves into a blender, and blend on high for 1 to 3 minutes to form a powder.
2. Label and store the masala in an airtight jar.
Pitta Masala
GOOD FOR: Digestion, Absorption, Hyperacidity, Acid Reflux, Heartburn, Detox, Inflammation, Liver Health
MAKES 1 CUP/PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
This spice blend will help treat all Pitta digestive issues such as acid reflux, heartburn, inflammation in the GI tract, and loose stools. This blend also works to cool down foods that may typically be too heating for Pitta types. To get the full effects of this blend, sauté it in ghee or coconut oil for about 30 to 60 seconds before adding it to your food.
Ingredients:-
2 tablespoons turmeric powder (2 बड़े चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर)
2 tablespoons ground ginger (2 बड़े चम्मच पिसा हुआ अदरक)
1&1/2 tablespoons fennel seeds, whole (1&1/2 बड़े चम्मच सौंफ के बीज, साबुत)
1&1/2 tablespoons coriander seeds, whole (1&1/2 बड़े चम्मच धनिया के बीज, साबुत)
1 tablespoon cumin seeds, whole (1 बड़ा चम्मच जीरा, साबुत)
1/2 tablespoon cardamom powder (1/2 बड़ा चम्मच इलायची पाउडर)
Steps
1. Put the turmeric, ginger, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and cardamom into a blender, and blend on high for 1 to 3 minutes to form a powder.
2. Transfer the spice mixture to a bowl and stir it to blend evenly.
3. Label and store the masala in an airtight jar.
Vata Masala
GOOD FOR: Digestion, Absorption, Gas, Bloating, Constipation, Detox, Inflammation
MAKES 1 CUP/PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
This spice blend helps pacify common Vata digestive issues such as gas, bloating, and constipation. It works in any savory recipe to enhance flavor and health properties. To experience the full effects of the spice blend, first, sauté it in ghee or sesame oil for 30 to 60 seconds before adding it to your food.
Ingredients:-
2 tablespoons turmeric powder (2 बड़े चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर)
2 tablespoons ground ginger (2 बड़े चम्मच पिसा हुआ अदरक)
1&1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds, whole (1&1/2 बड़े चम्मच जीरा, साबुत)

1. Put the turmeric, ginger, cumin seeds, cinnamon, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, peppercorns, salt, and asafoetida(if using) into a blender, and blend on high for 1 to 3 minutes to form a powder.
2. Transfer the spice mixture to a bowl and stir it to blend evenly.
