On July 15, 2025, the Supreme Court ordered that since the lady Colonel’s main case and medical treatment are in Chandigarh, she should be transferred there from Ambala.

The Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) has been instructed to expedite its proceedings on her case.
In her letters, the officer highlighted unlawful detention, mental harassment, denial of official vehicle use to visit the office, phone blocks, and denial of childcare leave despite having a sick 7-year-old child. She also demanded impartial investigations, inclusion of legal representatives in interrogations, and video recording of all inquiries.
