Open up your Facebook app and then click on your profile. Once you are on your profile click on “view your profile”. Now click on the camera icon at the bottom of your existing profile picture as shown in the video.

You are asked to change your profile picture, you can select a profile picture or a profile video. I’ll go with the profile picture and select an image from my gallery and I’ll click on save.

It will upload the image and once it is successfully uploaded, facebook will post it as a post.

We don't want that as we don't want to notify everyone or our friends that we changed our profile picture. We can do that by changing the privacy of our posts.

To change our privacy we will click on the 3 dots on our post and then click on “Edit Privacy” and then select the “Only me” option. That’s it. You have successfully changed your profile picture without notifying anyone or your friends.
