The Australian Songwriters Association in 2013 inducted Garth Porter into its Hall of Fame at the annual ASA Songwriters Awards function, hosted by Wests Ashfield Leagues Club, Sydney. There are 5 clips that cover the introduction and biography by Glenn A Baker, a video montage of Garth's music, the induction and Garth's response, a musical tribute from Lee Kernaghan, and a live performance by 'Sherbet' featuring the amazing vocals of Darryl Braithwaite. Each clip has notes relating to the event. This is Clip 2 featuring short excerpts from songs and music spanning more than 40 years, and shows the remarkable versatility of Garth, culminating in a move over to Country music with great success. His most recent brilliant achievement is with Lee Kernaghan in composition & production of ‘Spirit of The Anzacs' and an album of songs based on letters from soldiers to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915. Many prominent Australian Performers are featured in the songs, and the proceeds go to Legacy Australia.
