Hi, I’m Katie — and this episode marks the start of a deeply personal series about my experience as a Korean adoptee. I was born in South Korea and adopted into a white family in the U.S. at four months old. Like many transracial adoptees, I spent most of my life trying to fit in, pushing away parts of my identity I didn't fully understand.

Now, as an adult, I'm preparing to go back to Korea — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. This episode explores:
