Vectors and tensors in engineering and physics are very important. Tensor analysis deals with tensors in details. Tensor analysis for physics plays an important role. In this video, I have introduced the concept of vectors and tensor. I have explained what is a tensor and why it is important. I have also explained metric tensor and stress energy momentum tensor. Then, I have explained the components of a vector and how the components of a vector changes when one moves from the flat space to curved space. Vector notations are explained with examples and then thirteen different types of vectors are being explained.
