General Application Tips, ITC Series: Low-Income Communities Bonus, Residential Buildings

Multifamily owners provide tips from their experiences in applying for and getting approved for an allocation under Category 3 of Department of Energy’s Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit Program (also known as the ‘20% EJ Adder’). This bonus, on top of the 30% base investment tax credit (ITC), will help them to fund 50% of their solar projects at HUD-assisted multifamily properties.
