Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney believes Joe Biden and Donald Trump have “cut a deal” for two debates to keep RFK Jr. “off the stage”.

Joe Biden and Donald Trump have agreed to two presidential debates.

They will be held on June 27 and September 10.

“Both candidates have agreed to simply cut a deal with the TV network,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow.

“By doing that, they might be able to keep RFK Jr. … off of the stage.

“The Biden team, I think, was desperate not to give any more oxygen to the RFK campaign because they perceived him as an existential threat to Joe Biden.”
