Complete disassembly of the 4.2 bottom end plus valve train removal of both cylinder heads. I walk through all the subtle issues I found during the short block tear down including main journal bearings and an example of axial clearance measurement. I also take some simple steps to begin testing the valve seating on both heads with a quick light and compressed air test to look for leakage.
