Pierre Sibille annonce la couleur « organique » de ce nouvel album avec un groove martelé sur le pédalier basse de son Hammond. Ces 15 nouveaux titres sont le fruit de son travail sur cet instrument de légende, le B3.Cette musique Soul Blues est un langage universel et pour ce nouvel opus, Pierre a réuni une bande de musiciens exceptionnels qui « parlent couramment ce langage » : du blues de Richard Arame à la batterie de Moses Patrou, du sax de Michel Gaucher aux percussions de Jaco Largent… Jon Handelsman, David Walters, Pierre Chabrèle, Henri Dorina, Philippe Jardin, Jerome Buigues, Laurent Menier, Gabriel Equerre, François Gomez, Gérard Murphy, James Powel, Franck Taieb, Christophe Violland… Les beat makers Tee Two Mariani et Earl Broadfinger et les voix de Valerie Simpson, Kania Allard et Joniece Jamison. Les chansons sont chargées de rencontres et d’expériences, de « Lou Full of Joy » écrite pour sa fille cadette en passant par « Light in Senegal » en duo avec Valerie Simpson, de Claude Lemesle qui signe l’adaptation de « SmartPhone Blues » (La fille de l’iPhone) à sa rencontre avec Jack Robinson qui écrit la plupart des textes en anglais… A noter aussi une émouvante version de «Mon Camarade» de Léo Ferré.

This Soul Blues music is a universal language and for this new opus, Pierre has gathered a band of exceptional musicians who "speak this language fluently": From Richard Arame's blues to Moses Patrou's drums, from Michel Gaucher's sax to Jaco Largent's percussion... Jon Handelsman, David Walters, Pierre Chabrèle, Henri Dorina, Philippe Jardin, Jerome Buigues, Laurent Menier, Gabriel Equerre, François Gomez, Gérard Murphy, James Powel, Franck Taieb, Christophe Violland... The beat makers Tee Two Mariani and Earl Broadfinger and the vocals of Valerie Simpson, Kania Allard and Joniece Jamison. The songs are full of encounters and experiences, from "Lou Full of Joy" written for his youngest daughter to "Light in Senegal" in duet with Valerie Simpson, from Claude Lemesle who signs the adaptation of "SmartPhone Blues" (La fille de l'iPhone) to his meeting with Jack Robinson who writes most of the lyrics in English... Also noteworthy is a moving version of "Mon Camarade" by Léo Ferré.

BIO : Pierre Sibille is an artist from Hyères, passionate about music since his childhood. He started playing the piano and the harmonica at the age of 13, while learning to sing. He went to Paris to study and became a professional musician. For more than 15 years, he played in Parisian jazz clubs such as Les Trois Mailletz, the Bilboquet, the Sunset or the New Morning... As a committed artist, he sings for the cause of migrants "2019 © Troublant" (P. David Walters), takes part in actions for street children in Senegal "Light in Senegal" (P. Valerie Simpson) and plays for the festival "l'Esprit Jazz" at the women's prison in Versailles or at the prison of La Santé. Her reason for singing is to describe the world and to say things out loud! The gradual closure of jazz clubs led him to other horizons and he seized the opportunity to become resident musician at Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar in New York. For more than 8 years, he performed at blues parties, cultivating a dual Franco-American culture. This experience made him meet many musicians. He now has 6 albums to his credit, mostly sung in English. Released in 2019, his first French album entitled "French Album" is an album at the crossroads of World Music and Blues. Because you will have understood, what Pierre Sibille likes is the universality of the blues and the subjects which are approached there. His influences? Nina Simone, Ray Charles but also a lot of soul music, as well as the committed lyrics of Leo Ferret or Bob Dylan whose songs he likes to cover. Today, Pierre Sibille, member of the "BLUES UP" collective, is back with a brand new single entitled "Echo-logiques", teaser of his future album "Entre-2-Rives" which will be released on April 8, 2022.
