Ah, another new gaming video for my no-commentary, 30th anniversary edition walkthrough for the original MS-DOS version of the original Doom itself played through Steam on the Ultra Violence difficulty setting as I am now blasting my way through the second to last level of the entire game, which Episode 4 Mission 7: And Hell Followed as we will be blasting demons with 100% kills, 100% secrets and last but not least 100% items.
"Revelation 6:8:
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the world."
And so this biblical article means that a rider sat on a pale horse. His name was Death, as Hell followed with him and power was given to them for one fourth of the world to kill with not only swords but also hunger and death along with the beasts of the Earth, which is the animals of the Earth as Bigmacdavis would describe in his commentary-driven video for this level as that is the only way I know how describe it myself and of course, considering how Doom is a video game series that has to do with Hell, it only makes sense that it's level would take names after biblical verses and written passages that are in it.
And now I shall go ahead and, as usual let the gaming video do the talking about instructions on what to do on this particular map, what I will say is that I much prefer it to the prior map, Episode 4, Mission 6: Against Thee Wickedly, as I find it to be a much easier and more straightforward level much unlike that level, Against Thee Wickedly, which is why as such it did not take nearly as long for me to get the hang of this map. I also enjoy the map much more, too, as a result, especially considering that I am now on the very last level of the entire game, now that I have beaten this level itself. At least not in my opinion anyway, although some people may beg to differ, which is fine, of course. Enjoy!
