This game follows the recommended Phonics curriculum across schools in England and Wales, which is a synthetic phonics curriculum.

It has been created by the Usborne foundation in collaboration with reading experts. It is free to use on a PC, if you prefer to use the app version, which is available both for android, ipad and iphone, it is a paid app.

It is sequential in the order that sounds are introduced in the game.

This game was very appropriate for my daughter’s age (6 years old at the moment I did this review). It was very much in line with her level of phonics and what she is learning. According to the creators of the game, this game is very good for beginner readers and for older children that need a bit more of practice.
