“As Ghost (Omari Harwick) and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) move forward with their plan to kill Jason (Mike Dopud), Tommy enacts a plan of his own,” the “Scorched Earth” synopsis teases. In the Starz promo video, Ghost tells Tommy it’s all going to be over soon. Tommy replies by coldly agreeing with the statement.

In the previous episode, Keisha (La La Anthony) was forced to cooperate with the authorities to put Tommy in jail. However, she didn’t want to betray him and planned to take her son, Cash (Denim Roberson), and run.


Tommy, who was unaware of her plans, took Cash with him to pick out an engagement ring to surprise Keisha with a proposal. As she waited for the two to return, Tasha (Naturi Naughton) arrived to talk to Tommy but realized Keisha planned to run.


The former friends began to argue, and Tasha became aware of the gun in Keisha’s purse. The argument turned physical and the two fought for the gun. Tasha won the battle and killed Keisha.

Although Tasha murdered Keisha, Tommy believes it was Ghost. Will Tommy kill Ghost, or will he figure out that Tasha is responsible for her death?


“Dre (Rotimi) uses a ruse to force Tommy’s organization to rebel against him,” the “Power” Season 6, episode 9 synopsis says. Dre lost his chance to work for Jason after Tommy’s henchmen kidnapped him and caused him to miss his meeting with the kingpin.

Dre wants to make Tommy pay for ruining his chance to be a boss, but will Dre ruin Tommy’s business, or make matters worse for himself?

“Tommy battles the kin of one of his past victims,” the “Scorched Earth” synopsis states. While it is unclear which victim’s family will try to take out Tommy, there is a chance it will be Proctor’s (Jerry Ferrara) cousin’s, Benny (Domenick Lombardozzi).

Ghost initially suspected Proctor was killed by a shady client but later realized Tommy murdered the lawyer. If Ghost figures out Tommy’s plan to kill him, will he share the real identity of Proctor’s killer with Benny?
