During his opening remarks of a hearing featuring former special counsel Robert Mueller, House Judiciary Ranking Member Doug Collins, R-Ga., said that the “opportunity cost here is too high” for the investigation into whether there was Russian interference in the 2016 presidential elections. Collins said, “we’ve had truth for months,” that “Russia meddled in the presidential election,” but “the president knew he was innocent.”
